The setup consists of Linkam THMS600 compact cryostat which allows reflective and transmission micro-optical studies of samples under electrical (Keysight 33500B waveform generator) or optical (Coherent Chameleon tunable Ti:Saph laser) excitation. The cryostat is installed onto a XYZ translation stage that allows precise sub-micrometer positioning. A built-in optical microscope allows coupling of the photoluminescence into an optical fiber or a free-space CCD camera.
