Abstract: This project aims to evaluate the technical, economic, and operational impacts of large-scale electric vehicle (EV) adoption on Russia’s power system. The study will analyze grid stability, load growth, peak demand patterns, infrastructure requirements, and opportunities for smart charging and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) integration. The results will support strategic planning, policy development, and the modernization of the Russian power grid in the context of transport electrification and energy transition.

Internship duration: from 2 months depending on the intensity of the visit

Internship start date: May 11, 2026 or later, discussed with the candidates

Requirements for the candidate:

Candidate with knowledge of applied mathematics. Experience in electrical engineering or power markets is especially welcome.

Monthly compensation: not available, successful candidates may join research team after internship
