A delegation from Skoltech visited Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates. At the University of Sharjah, Skoltech President Alexander Kuleshov and University of Sharjah Chancellor Esameldin Agamy signed an agreement on the establishment of the Global Center for Future Technologies and announced its launch. This initiative establishes a world-class research and innovation hub with headquarters at the University of Sharjah, dedicated to bridging the gap between advanced scientific discovery and industrial application.

The delegation also paid a visit to Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park, where Skoltech President Alexander Kuleshov and Hussain Al Mahmoudi, the CEO of the innovation park, signed a memorandum of understanding on supporting cooperation in science and commercialization activities. It represents a culmination of a year of collaboration to support Skoltech startups in expanding in the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council markets.
