Remaining true to its mission, the Center for Digital Engineering at Skoltech is now operating under the new name — the Center for Engineering Systems and Sciences.

Tatiana Podladchikova, Director of the Skoltech Center for Engineering Systems and Sciences and Head of the Solar Physics & Space Weather Laboratory:

"In 2026, the Center for Engineering Systems and Sciences is launching an integrated program. This initiative creates a unified development pathway where fundamental science, cutting-edge engineering, and world-class education are strategically combined. This synergy drives progress across the entire early innovation cycle (TRL 0–7), enabling us to overcome the critical 'Valley of Death' (TRL 4–7) and mature scientific discoveries into meaningful scientific and technological outcomes. This work directly supports the implementation of Skoltech's Strategy 2030 and contributes to addressing national priorities.

The program opens new avenues for scientific breakthroughs and the development of scalable technologies, strengthening the nation's long-term leadership in line with the strategic priority of achieving technological sovereignty.
