Associate Professor Stanislav Fedotov from the Energy Center participated in a meeting between young scientists and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the final day of the Young Scientists Congress. As the head of the Skoltech project supported by the Russian Science Foundation’s grant honoring the outstanding Russian scientist Evgeny Velikhov, Stanislav expressed gratitude to the president for spearheading the grant competition in the beginning of 2025 and highlighting the Skoltech project at the meeting. He presented the technology for sodium-ion batteries, which will be developed in cooperation with the Krasnoyarsk region, describing its advantages and practical potential. After the president’s question about sodium-ion battery recycling technology, Stanislav added that the Energy Center team had already secured a patent for that.
